5 Goals I Want To Accomplish In 2018

Okay. Let’s talk goals.

I don’t make resolutions but I do set goals. It’s the only way I keep the jumbled mess that is my brain moving.

This year all of my goals are tough ones for me. Two are probably part of your normal adulting life but are not a part of mine.


1. I want to do a 2 week water fast to reset my metabolism, which I have ruined by not eating breakfast for the last 25 years. Yea. God, you guys. I just want to drink coffee, sweet tea and wine and be happy. My body doesn’t want that. I guess eating breakfast is going to have to be attached to this goal after my fast.

2. I want to try to try to follow Mel Robbin’s 5 productivity rules. I’ll do a post on those. She’s brill. Hardcore and brill. This one is going to hurt but I know it’s good.

3. I want to sign a book deal, write, edit and publish a new book that’s worth the reader’s time to read.

4. I want to take a business risk this year. Last year was super safe. I’m ready to risk (and fail if need be).

5. I am going to find 2 people to help me grow this year. A mentor and a counselor.

Side note: I am having the HARDEST TIME finding a woman that wants to help me by coaching me in my business. They run away as fast as they can when they hear my story. Do you guys know a good business coaches or masterminds?

    Hello Lindsay, I first want to thank you for all that you do. I was a subscriber to Unconvention last year. It was great, the information was valuable and to the point. I loved that.

    As for a mentor, have you checked out Mark and Davene Januszewski? They strongly support and lead Mastermind groups. In addition, they host a 26 week program based on the Master Keys Master Mind Alliance, retreats in Kauai and publish books. I’m not sure what exactly you are looking for in regards to publishing your book, but, perhaps this teaching model would be something that may interest you. The 26 week course is based on the members forming Master Mind Alliances with each other. There are weekly webinars, worksheets and readings. They are straight forward, no fluff. Even if this teaching model isn’t something that you would be interested in, they may know of a mentor who would be a great fit for you.

    Look up Snake Diet, Cole is crazy and cusses like a sailor, but what he says make sense. It will definitely help you reset your metabolism. He is very hardcore though, and he is going to advise you to quit all your vises. You can you take part of his philosophies to suit your current goal, that’s why I am suggesting you look it up. The electrolyte (Snake Juice, which is sodium, potassium, and water) solution he recommends makes fasting for long periods of time a little bit more sustainable than water fasting alone.

    I’m sure you already know her and love her like I do, but Marie Forleo is AMAZING. She would be an fantastic coach and I don’t think she’s afraid of anything! 🙂

    My hardest goal: to get my brain in the proper mindset to actually grow my business. And that one is a tough one!
