We are doing the beach thing. Which forces us to get really good at doing nothing.
We are focusing on the silence between the waves.
We are focusing on the stillness between the winds.
We are focusing on the smell of the salty water and hot sand, which would be even if we weren’t here to notice it.
It’s not always easy to turn off the chatter, and the things my mind convinces me are ‘so important’.
Nature reminds me with the sweet sound of nothingness.
Each time I hear nothing, I hope to be reminded.
